I need a massive mobile phone so that I can read the texts.

I can more or less guess what I'm writing but reading it is a pain.

Two weeks ago the conker trees at the back of the house didn't have a leaf on them, now they are in full leaf and beginning to blossom.

Its amazing.

Well it’s been quite a busy weekend although nothing much was achieved.  Did a few bits and bobs with Marie, you know the sort of thing, garden centres shopping and stuff. Bought some stuff to cure the fish because it developed some sort of fungus all over its body after its escape. But most of the weekend I’ve been escaping into the shed and trying to make something for the lathe. It’s a back plate so that I can mount odd shape thingies on it because a three-jaw chuck is very limited. I’ve used the base of the new telly because that had a big lump of steel in the bottom as a balance weight but I’ve blown two fuses in the lathe trying to push a 17 mm drill through it.  I sharpened the drill in the end but to no avail. Even the bench drill struggled; I think the plate must be made of diamond or something. Anyway it all started to come together in the end and I learnt quite a lot.  Onwards and hopefully upwards.

Yesterday morning I went into the garden and found the biggest fish in the pond lying on its side out of the pond almost dead, it had jumped out for some reason.  I put it back in and it slowly revived.  I came home from work today at lunch and the stupid thing is lying there all covered in sand again. This time I thought its number was really up so I put it back in to see what would happen.   When I got home from work just now it was all right but the rest of the fish were hiding.  I don’t know what it said about me but he must be a bit of a hero now and I’m painted out to be the bad guy.
