    puff

Its funny how magic can just disapear in a puff of smoke.
This honing tool is turning into a bit of a saga.
I mean....every little detail needs a new tool, its driving me nuts.
I tried turning a twelve millimeter thread about three inches onto a twelve mill steel tube but the die was not the split type an I couldn't get it to start,
I ordered a new set of dies from work and included english sizes in the order only to find about a week later that they were discontinued so I re ordered the metric.
The nut gun has found itself useful again as shoes on the mandrel.
I need now some pulleys to reduce the speed of the router that I am going to use to power the honer.
the whole contraption will be mounted onto an old black and decker jobber.
If I ever get it going its gonna rip my hands off.
